How to make or cook easy recipes of Bavarian style cheese muff recipe

Some said if you feel unhappy you need to eat this kind of dish, called the Hechtenkraut because this was the favorite dish of the unhappy, mad king Ludwig of Bavaria. The  recipe for this dish (casserole of pike and cabbage and crayfish) was one the king liked to eat after such a sleigh ride. But it must have been tough on the cooks. I suggest something much simpler, cheese muff. What a pity it was not the King's favorite! it would have spared his cook a lot of work.

Ingredients:

- 1/4 pound Cheddar or swiss cheese
- 4 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup white bread crumbs
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking process:

- Grate 1/4 pound of any Cheddar or Swiss cheese ( about a cupful).
- Melt 4 tablespoon butter in a saucepan over a low flame.
- Add 1/2 cup white bread crumbs and the grated cheese, and stir it well until melted.
- Add 2 well beaten eggs, salt and pepper.
- Stir all the while, and as soon as the mixture begin to form into a soft, fluffy, muff like shape.
- Serve at once, with toast or you can use biscuits.
- A very plain salad, after this, Iceberg or Boston lettuce, and a tiny bit of oil and lemon dressing.
- The muff is on heavy, rich side, so don't add a richcreamy dessert.
- four serving
